About
My name is Amber Rogers
I founded North Shore Arts Consulting because I believe deeply that art is essential and that the organizations supporting creative work form the backbone of vibrant communities. My practice channels my experience as an arts administrator, professional violist, and community advocate into meaningful support for artists and arts nonprofits throughout Northeast Ohio and beyond.
Working within this region's vibrant arts community has been a profound privilege. As Executive Director of the Local 4 Music Fund, I created platforms for artists through initiatives like the Hingetown Jazz Festival and the "She Scores" series while providing direct support through programs like the Music Relief Fund. Earlier, as Director of Sistema Orchestras in Shaker Heights, I connected young people with music's transformative power through a Title 1 after-school program. For over 20 years, I've served as an independent grant writer and strategist, helping nonprofits of all sizes secure vital resources.
These contributions have been recognized with the Jazz Journalists Association's "2025 Jazz Heroes" award and the United Labor Agency's "Unsung Hero of the Labor Movement" award in 2022.
My commitment to the broader arts ecosystem continues through my service as a Board Member for the Cleveland Chamber Symphony and committee member for Heights Arts, focusing on community music programming.
I provide consulting services designed to strengthen small and midsize arts organizations—developing practical strategies, building capacity, and fostering lasting success—so you can focus on your artistic and community goals. This work is fueled by my genuine passion for the arts and my unwavering commitment to building sustainable futures for creative communities.
